Introduction

History explains about Eva Braun as the wife of Adolf Hitler. It is said that she was born in a middle class family and she completed her studies from the Catholic Institute. She worked as sales initially after completing her studies and then worked as a photographer. She did photography for Heinrich Hoffman who was the official photographer of the popular leader of the Nazis, Hitler.

While she was working for Hoffman, Eva Braun got to know Hitler and gradually they started sharing a romantic relationship. Their relationship lasted for twelve years but she was never seen with Hitler in public because Hitler did not like it. In spite of being the love interest of the ardent political leader Hitler, Eva did not have any Political influence. Because of high political ambitions of Hitler, she often had to spend an isolated life, but that never diminished her love for his partner and she promised to be with him till the end of her life.

Early Life and Childhood

Eva was born on 6th of February 1912 in Germany, Munich. She was first the mistress of and later became the wife of Adolf Hitler. Both Braun and Hitler committed suicide on 30th April 1945 and that was one day after marrying each other. This day did to avoid falling prey in hands of the enemy.

After becoming the mistress of Hitler she often suffered emotionally and tried committing suicide twice. Irrespective of the circumstances, she was committed to Hitler. They only got married on 29th of April 1945, when the Nazis got defeated at the end of 2nd World War. And, both of them committed suicide only on the next day of their marriage.

Eva Braun's father was a school teacher and her mother was a seamstress. They were there siblings and she was the 2nd child of three daughters and was a typical teenager girl who has general interest in boys, makeup and clothes. She was not very much interested in her studies and would get only average grades during her studies.

After joining a convent school but later she came to realize that she did not belong to that place and started working as an assistant and a bookkeeper at the Heinrich Hoffman shop. Hoffman was the personal photographer of Hitler and he met Braun at the bookstore. Braun was just 17 while Hitler was 40 when they met each other and it was in 1929. Working with Heinrich Hoffman, she also learnt gradually the basic art of photography.

Later Life

It was the death of the niece of Hitler who lived with him in his apartment in Munich and that brought the two together. In the year 1932, Eva tried committing suicide but by the grace of God she failed at her attempt and that led Hitler to come closer to Eva.

At the same time, she also became more stable financially and got the chance do photography for Hoffman. And, it was the obligations related to photography that led her to take up frequent travels with the staffs of Hitler. She would be required to travel in the company of Hoffman during these travels.

She was found to have taken several sleeping pills in 1935 and that was her second suicide attempt and that was because Hitler would not sped sufficient time with her. But, she was saved at that time and started spending more time with Hitler at his residence.

Although, both of them were too much in love with each other, they were never spotted together because Hitler did not like. He thought, he would become less popular if, he would be known to be in a relationship. Their romantic relationship came into light only after the world war. Eva hardly had any political influence o n her; she was only interested in shopping, sports and cinema.

Personal Life

In the year 1945, Eva moved from Munich to Berlin in order to live with Hitler. In a private ceremony both Eva and Hitler tied the knot that is in the mid night of 28 and 29. And, that legally made the two, husband and wife.

Just on the next day of their marriage, in the afternoon, they committed suicide. While Eva swallowed a cyanide capsule, Hitler shot himself in the right temple. Later both of them were burned to ashes behind the Reich Chancellery in the garden.

The fact that she was the companion of Adolf Hitler remained unknown and a top secret until they were burnt to ashes.
