And, especially talking about women athletes, they have to struggle a lot to make a place for themselves. More than the power that they have to put in with the game itself, they will have to struggle for being a woman.

Here I am going to list out some of those influential women athletes, who with their will power and the zeal to succeed have made a name for themselves. Read below to find……

Her achievements – P.V Sindhu rose to fame to International level when she was enlisted in September 2012, she was enlisted among the top 20 players in the BWF World Ranking and that too merely at the age of 17. Later in the year 2013 she became the first woman in the Badminton World Championships to win a medal.

Her real name is Pusarla Venkata Sindhu and she was born in 1995, on 5th of July. She is a well known Badminton player of India. She was the first female badminton player to have won a Silver Medal in the Olympic Games. Apart from that, she is also among the two Indian Badminton players to have won an Olympic medal. The other player who has won an Olympic medal is Saina Nehwal. Apart from all that, she has also won a Silver medal in 2018 Commonwealth games. And, to her kitty she has also added the title of being a Silver medalist at the BWF World Championships of 2017 and BWF World Championships of 2018.
